step 1:  remove all item from the packaging and cut the tie-wraps to begin assembly put aside the flex cable and keys to create more working space

step 2: remove the mounting bracket from the lock by pushing the red button and sliding the bracket free unscrew the nuts and bolts. 
          tip:boltsand nuts are easily replaceable by common hex bolts and nuts nif lost

step 3:place the bracket around the seat tube(vertical tube),tope tube(horizontal tube)or down tube(diagonal tube)of the bike.di this by opening the                bracket carefully  with your hands.once placed on the tube,add or remove the provided protective rubber bumpers to find the right size of your            bracket opening so that it can be connected tightly.

step 4:once the mounting bracket is connected to the tube,decide on the placement of the mounting bracket
          Side-mount:secure the bracket to a 90 angle to the cycling direction  (figure A)
          Straight-mount:secure the bracket in line with the cycling direction(figure B)

step 5:once a good position is found ,please tighten the mounting bracket.insert the U-lock in the mounting bracket and test if it is in the right position            for you.you need to be able to pedal freely
          Tip:if the mounting bracket is placed on the seat or down tube,please make sure that the U-LOCK opening of the bracket is pointed                               upwards(from the ground)

step 6:remove the lock by pushing the red button.tighten the mounting bracket with your screwdriver to the desired position and make sure that is                 secured properly

step 7:perform a safety check.ride your bicycle in a controlled environment to ensure that your pedal.crank and leg do not hit the lock and that your               lock and frame brackets do not come loose.if that heppens,make the necessary changes to the position of the mounting bracket by loosening             it with your screwdriver and adjusting it to the right position.

step 8:the mounting bracket is now ready to use.the flex cable works as a secondard deterrent,andwe recommend that your lock your bike both with the U-lock AND the cable.lock your bike frame with the U-lock and secure the rest of your bike with the flex cable
